Fibrant is a producer and supplier of sustainable chemical products and technologies and the undisputed market leader in caprolactam, cyclohexanone, and ammonium sulfate. These are raw materials used in textiles, cars, food packaging, and agricultural products. With the help of Acorel, they have implemented SAP Sales Cloud.
Ready for the future
To keep up with their growth, Fibrant sought a CRM system that would future-proof their organization. "Because we were using different office applications such as Excel, PDF, and Shared Drives, we were missing the helicopter view. With two new product groups that we are going to launch in the market, our current way of working was no longer sufficient. We need a 360-degree customer view to meet customer expectations. This can only be achieved with a solid CRM system. That's why we chose SAP Sales Cloud," says Pouya Kameli, business manager at Fibrant.
Flexible collaboration and rapid implementation
Ron Romeijnders, project manager and business process expert at Fibrant, says: "When we decided that we wanted a CRM system, SAP approached us. They introduced Acorel as the implementation partner. We immediately had a good feeling about this. We knew where we wanted to go, but not how to get there. With Acorel's structured and clear approach, this became clear during the implementation process. Our goal is for the CRM system to fully integrate with the backend of our current system and for us to be future-proof. Adoption is still ongoing, but we are already seeing the first results cautiously. Our initial goals have been achieved, and now we will build on that."
Overcoming implementation challenges
During the implementation, Fibrant and Acorel also faced challenges. Ron says: "Everything worked as it should in the development environment. Transferring to the production environment caused problems. Acorel immediately engaged with SAP to resolve this. They kept us well informed, so we ultimately stayed within the schedule. Once we finish the adoption phase, we will move on to phase two where we will integrate Cloud for Customer more broadly into the SAP ERP system. The integration is currently focused on customers and quotes and copying sales orders. In the next phase, we want to enable sales orders, and perhaps the forecast, to be entered into the SAP ERP system from Cloud for Customer. Ultimately, we want all sales documents to be accessible from Cloud for Customer."
